Volvo Timing Kit P1, P2, P80, Volvo Modular Engine

This tool kit is used to set time on a Volvo Modular Engine, commonly known as the 'White block' 

This kit includes the necessary tools to remove the cam carrier assembly, set cam timing, and press new cam seals into the head. 

This tool set is required when replacing the cam seals, or removing the head.

This set includes drifts to install camshaft seals on both VVT and non VVT (not pictured, but included) engines in both the front and rear. 

DO NOT TRUST THE CHEAP CHINESE VERSIONS OF THIS TOOL, the camshaft lock is required to hold counter torque when torquing the VVT hubs, they can break during torquing allowing the camshaft to break free and bend valves. This is a high quality kit with cut plate steel to resist torquing forces well beyond what is required. 

Please specify the car this tool set will be used on, we can include VVT hub bolts, which are not required to be replaced per Volvo, however will occasionally yield during torque procedure. If the bolt yields before torque is achieved, replace with the SATR supplied bolt. The cost of the bolt will be taken from your deposit if used. If both are returned, the deposit will be fully refunded. For P1 RNC or P3 5 cylinder cars, the T30 on the camshaft position sensor is common to strip out, we can included these bolts as well if requested. Same program as above.  

The camshaft bolts supplied are slightly too long, washers are included to adjust. The best fitment is with one small washer and 3 larger washers to be installed on each bolt when the cam lock is installed on the rear of the camshafts.
